چکیده
Aim. The side effects associated with the use of indometacin are noted by about 30-60% patients, therefore, in this context problem adverse event rate reduction is still relevant today. Cryopreserved placental extract (CEP) attracted our attention as a means pathogenetic correction ulcerogenic action indomethacin. aim paper to characterize antiulcer activity cryopreserved placenta on model indomethacin-induced ulcerogenesis.
Materials and Methods. In vivo experimental studies were performed 28 nonlinear laboratory male rats weighing 200-220 g. Acute gastrointestinal injury was replicated single injection indomethacin at 60 mg/kg rats. Euthanasia animals after 4 hours administration.
Results Discussion. Macroscopic evaluation condition gastric mucosa showed that all had numerous pinpoint hemorrhages, 49.2% mild hyperemia abnormal folding. Evaluation small intestinal 57.1% injected alone 11.1±4.1 ulcers per 10 cm length. Prophylactic administration esomeprazole led statistically significant (p<0.05) attenuation effect - mean score 3.9 times lower than control 0.9±0.26.
Conclusions. combined CEP 1.9-fold ulcer index compared administered only, thus demonstrating gastroprotective CEP. contrast esomeprazole, introduction has pronounced enteroprotective effect, indicated absence damage treated studied cryoextract

Antiulcer effects of Zataria multiflora Boiss. on indomethacin-induced gastric ulcer in rats
Objective: Zataria multiflora has been reported to have several medicinal properties including antioxidant, antibacterial, antispasmodic, and expectorant activities. This study aimed to investigate the effect of Z. multiflora hydro-alcoholic extract (ZMHE) on peptic ulcer caused by indomethacin in rats. Materials and Methods: ZMHE was prepared by maceration, condensed by rotary evaporator and ...

Study was aimed to evaluate the possible antisecretory and antiulcer activity of crude bark extract of Acacia catechu and its action against indomethacin an non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID) plus pyloric ligation induced gastric ulcers in rats. Administration of crude extract of Acacia catechu (400mg/kg/day p.o.) significantly reduced ulcer index when compared with indomethacin induc...

Circadian rhythms are driven by endogenous clock gene and affects in several gastric parameters causing ulcerogenesis. The study was aimed to evaluate the time dependent antiulcer activity of hydroxyzine in cold-stress-induced ulcer model. The ulcer protection effect of hydroxyzine was studied at various time intervals (9 am, 1 pm, 5 pm, 91 pm, 1 am and 5 am) in cold stress ulcer model using wi...
